A foggy morning on the "George"

Rosemary checks the route to Brooklyn

At Union & 4th Avenue in Brooklyn

Mayor Bloomberg

Just short of mile 7

Here they come

The "Elite" men

Close up

More scenes of Brooklyn

The crowds were amazing

and the runners great in number

37000+ runners in all

Rosemary and I saw Joe

but once, and are glad we did!

Here he is at mile 7!! Still smiling!

Next was mile 13

in Queens by the Pulaski Bridge

We did not see Joe

Then mile 18 at 94th & 1st

in Manhattan

Runners slowed for a Power Gel station

looking for the energy to get them

to the finish line! Many didn't make it.

Brenda, Ken, & Emily Walsh

with the successful marathoner Joe!
